We will see, my friend, we will see. But if I'm not mistaken the Redskins have the type of team that is tailor-made for a deep playoff run.

Well, well, well. It looks like Carson Palmer's performance may have punched some holes into my theory about the Cincinnati Bengals this year. The Bengals pure passer returned from a potentially crippling knee injury in just eight short months and looked outstanding on Monday night in a preseason game against Green Bay.

I spent a day at the Giants camp in Albany last week. A few things stood out. First, backup QB Jared Lorenzen is a giant. I'm not a small guy, but he is literally as wide as I am tall. He couldn't complete a pass while I was watching him, but he'll be handy if all of the linemen get food poisoning or some other ailment.

Bitter feud aside, this offseason was actually a highly productive one for the Titans. They acquired several key free agents that make them immediately more viable, while also securing the future of the franchise by drafting Vince Young and LenDale White. All in all, I expect a much more competitive club to be fielded by Jeff Fisher.

2006 Indianapolis Colts Preview: Run Towards Title, Away From Tragedy
