Through the use of WagerWeb’s ‘Active Sports Lines’ tab, you will have access to up-to-date betting lines for a wide variety of sporting events. The following is a look at a few of this week’s ‘active betting lines’ that are currently on available on the site.
NFL Futures
In light of free agency and last week’s college draft, WagerWeb has updated its ‘futures’ odds for both the NFC and AFC Championship as well as Super Bowl XLVII.
The Green Bay Packers are still the odds-on-favorite to win the NFC at +285 with San Francisco the second-favorite at +550. The Philadelphia Eagles are now the third-favorite at +600 with the beleaguered New Orleans Saints still fourth at +650.
The AFC odds are a bit tighter with New England the favorite at +300 and Houston the second-favorite at +450. The addition of Peyton Manning has the Denver Broncos third at +650 followed by Baltimore at +700 and Pittsburgh at +750.
Just like last season, the Packers get the slight edge over the Patriots at +550 to win it all with New England at +600. The third-favorites to win the Super Bowl at +1000 are the Eagles and the Texans with the 49ers and Broncos next at +1200. The New York Giants have been opened at +1600 to successfully defend their title.
NBA and NHL Playoffs
WagerWeb has a full set of daily lines for all the playoff action in both the NBA and the NHL. When it comes to betting on basketball, it offers spreads, money lines and total lines for the game itself as well as by each individual quarter and the first and second half. It also offers a full set of bets for both team and individual player props.
Hockey games have daily money lines, puck lines, and totals, but you can also wager on three-way lines which include the option of betting on a draw at the end of regulation. Given the amount of games that have gone to overtime so far in this year’s playoffs, there is money to be made here.
