2009: A Banner Year For Bodog
by Bodog - 02/05/2009
The Super Bowl may be over, but the year has just begun for Bodog. With more Sports, Poker and Casino events and promotions planned than ever before, 2009 is already shaping up to be a banner year for Bodog.
Bodog Poker is ahead of the game, having already given away 11 $12,000 World Series of Poker* prize packages, with many more to come throughout the year. Also in the cards for 2009 is a third installment of the overwhelmingly successful Bodog Poker Open (BPO). With even bigger and better prizes, BPO III is tentatively scheduled for spring 2009. Alongside a slew of events and promotions, Bodog Poker will be adding a monthly player driven Q&A section to the site where players will submit Poker questions to be answered by Bodog Poker Pro Justin Bonomo. In other exciting news, Bodog Poker is now available to Mac users via a brand new flash based poker client, try it out here.

After four weeks, the player with the highest combined score for the previous four weeks will win a grand prize $1,000 casino chip. Following the Baccarat contest will be a special Bodog Mobile Casino promotion, along with an all new Roulette contest and themed Blackjack tables for Triple Crown and March Madness.
Bodog Sports has taken a quick lead out of the gates, offering futures odds on the 2009 NBA Championship game, the 2009 World Series, the 2010 BCS National Championship NCAA football game and will be posting futures odds on Super Bowl XLIV shortly. While already offering odds on most major sporting events for the next two years, Bodog Sports will be running some very exciting promotions and contests around Kentucky Derby, March Madness and a number of other major sporting events throughout 2009.
"The Super Bowl has been and gone, and as great as it was, you haven't seen anything yet. The big game is just the start of the year at Bodog," says Morris Mohawk Gaming Group (MMGG) CEO Alwyn Morris (MMGG is the exclusive licensee of the Bodog online gaming brand in North America). "2009 is going to be packed with exciting new events, promotions and contests across all Bodog channels, with some pretty impressive prizes and prize packages up for grabs. We're going to make 2009 one of Bodog's best years yet!"
Outside the Poker, Casino and Sports worlds, Bodog's Affiliate team is in full swing. The team just attended CAP London, is planning to attend additional conferences throughout the year, and is seeking out and building relationships with potential new affiliate partners.
