2008 Euro Soccer Futures Odds
by Doc's Sports - 04/08/2008
Euro 2008 still does not get underway until June, however Euro soccer odds have been out for a little over a month. The majority of the lines that have been released come from European sportsbooks, and that makes sense seeing how the entire event and teams competing are representing over the pond. But also, U.S. books such as Pinnacle and Bodog have already released numbers as well, and certainly more have and will continue to add and update Euro futures odds in the coming weeks and months.
There are several ways you can go about looking in to futures bets with soccer tournaments. You can pick the team you think will be the eventual champion, similar to something you would do with the NCAA Tournament or an NBA and MLB season. Group play is the first stage of this tournament with four groups of four teams. Each group winner and runner-up advance, and you can bet those odds, as well as sometimes the option for an exacta bet that calls for you to correctly predict the exact order each four teams in the group will finish.
