New York Giants Odds to Win the Super Bowl

The New York Giants are a team I find it hard to get excited about. There is nothing really wrong with them, but they just don’t seem good enough to beat the best in the league. Of course, I have felt the same basic thing both years they went on to win the Super Bowl in the Eli era. Maybe it’s just me. They are coming off a season that justified my feelings, though. Their 9-7 record was underwhelming, and postseason hopes were derailed by losing three of their first four in December. Oddsmakers are reasonably optimistic that this is a better team than they appeared last year, though - they are 20/1 to win the Super Bowl at Bovada. Only eight teams have lower odds, so this team is positioned just beyond the elite of the league. Their odds are lower than some public teams, including the defending champs, so there is a good chance things will change - keep an eye out below for the latest odds. The biggest challenge of assessing the team is that it isn’t clear how tough this schedule is yet. The strength of the NFC East is hard to assess right now, and they face several teams - the Chiefs, Panthers, Bears, Vikings, Chargers and Lions - that could be anything from pretty bad to quite good. The price seems far too low to me, but time has proven how worthless that is here.
