I usually start off by looking at team history, betting trends and, of course, weekly injury reports. My biggest strength in handicapping the AFL is that I have more than six years of tracking and recorded betting trends. Another key this year in handicapping this league is keeping an eye out for the New Orleans VooDoo. The New Orleans Saints were America's team this year in the NFL and quite possibly the VooDoo will be the America's team this season in the AFL.
