EAGLES SHARE FAVOURITISM
After thrashing Green Bay on Sunday, Philadelphia are now our 5/2 joint favorites for the Super Bowl next February, and it is now only a matter of time before they clinch the number one seeding in the playoffs. While there is little competition for the Phillies in the NFC, New England's path to Jacksonville in the AFC looks far trickier. The Patriots are 1/2 with us for the top spot, but there are a number of teams who on their day could give them a tough time. The Pittsburgh Steelers appear to be their main threat at this stage, but an argument can be made for both Indianapolis (5/1 for the Super Bowl after another points-fest against Tennessee) and San Diego, who could be the surprise package this year. After the latter's huge win over the Broncos on Sunday night (tipped up here, were you on?), the Chargers are now in a strong position to win the AFC West. They wouldn't be the first team to come from nowhere to win the Super Bowl (Rams in 1999, Ravens 2000, Patriots 2001)!

bet365 Super Bowl prices … Patriots, Eagles 5/2, Steelers 5/1, Colts 6/1, Chargers, Falcons 16/1 others on bet365website.

bet365 AFC Championship (Conference Number One Seed) prices … Patriots 1/2, Steelers 6/4, Chargers, Colts 20/1, others on bet365 website.

STEELERS TARGET TITLE
Live betting - Sa Dec 18 – 1:00 pm EST/18:00 GMT
Pittsburgh host the New York Jets on Sunday night, and they can clinch the AFC North title with a win. The Steelers rookie QB Ben Roethlisberger has yet to lose, compiling a 10-0 record since becoming the starter, while Pittsburgh can also tie a franchise record of 11 consecutive wins set in 1975. The Jets have never won here, but should at least be able to keep the scoring down – they have allowed the fewest points in the NFL (175). The Steelers have yielded only 184 points themselves, and are first in the league against the run. Pittsburgh lead the series 14-2.

Pick: Pittsburgh (-6.0) @ 10/11 & Under 35.5 points @ 10/11.

WILL HE OR WONT HE?
Sa Dec 11 – 9:00 pm EST (PPV HBO)/Dec 12 – 02:00 GMT
Danny Williams could be worth a small interest when he takes on Ukranian Vitaly Klitschko on Saturday night. After looking finished 12 months ago, Williams could now be on the verge of becoming undisputed heavyweight champion of the world, if only he can conquer his mental demons that have plagued him in the past. This does not look impossible for a man who has won 32 out of his 35 fights, and who has looked sensational in the past, especially when sending Mike Tyson to the canvas back in July. With the gameplan likely to be to go the body early, in the hope that Klitschko might come apart, a speculative interest on a Williams early round win could pay massive dividends. Lennox Lewis looked to be doing just that to him when the two met in Los Angeles last year. Check out our site for full 'Round' and 'Total Rounds' betting. In the latter, predict when the fight will finish by going over or under our quote.

Pick: Williams 'To Win Fight @ 3/1 (Round 3 @ 40/1).

WOODS ON TARGET FOR OVERDUE WIN

Tiger Woods shares the lead on 4 under going into the second round of the Target World Challenge, an event that he runs with proceeds going to his charities. After relinquishing his world number one position to Vijay Singh last year, Tiger will be desperate to win this event in order to climb back up the rankings. His record here is fantastic, and he is a confident choice to win a tournament that is clearly very important to him. Check out our site for Outright betting In-Play and 2-ball betting prior to each round. We make Tiger 8/15 to outscore his playing partner and fellow leader Jim Furyk (15/8), with the tie priced at 15/2. More 2-ball betting on site.

bet365 Outright betting (after 1st round) … Woods (-4) 11/10, Furyk (-4) 7/1, Harrington (-3) 7/1, Jimenez (-3) 12/1, others on bet365 website.

TWO CCHA SQUADS LOOK TO SPARK THE SEASON
Both Michigan State (7-8-1, 4-6-0 CCHA) and Notre Dame (3-8-4, 2-7-3 CCHA) will be keen to improve their records and kick start their seasons when the puck drops on Friday night in the first of this home-and-home series. With both sides hungry for success this should be an intense, hard-fought game that will tell us a lot about both the Spartans and the Fighting Irish. We make Michigan favourites for the game at 5/11. Check out our site for more Game Lines. Watch all the action on NASN, and join us for live Puck Line, Game Total, and Next Goal Scored betting In-Play. Live In-Play betting also available on Saturday's MCH Monarchs @ HFD Wolf Pack match-up.
