Originally Trever Malagon, he also goes by other aliases which are:
Deuce Drop, Deuce Bugle, Angelo Goldwing, and Old Dirty Trev(ODT). Trever was born and raised in Long Beach CA, then uprooted and transplanted to Las Vegas. Boxing has been a huge part of his life living in Vegas, having been to tons of fights at local casino's and going to the major fights down on the Strip.
He's met and talked with a wide variety of fighters, boxing writers and trainers. Trev's been able to go to gyms and watch fighters train and talk shop with trainers, basically learning about boxing from the inside. Being a die-hard fan of boxing he's always loved learning about the history of the sport and what made it such an attraction to the public. Why people care, and why people continue to support the sport, even through times of corruption and deceit.
All the negative is just as good as the positive in this sport and that, it has its checks and balances. Which keeps all of us wondering," what's going to happen next?" Just like anything else in life, Old Dirty Trev's views of boxing are agreed with by some and argued by others, and that's the way Trev like's it. Living the life as a true drinking American, Trever has a different take on things when it comes to his views on life. The reality is he attempts to push people to think past the norm. Challenging himself and his sanity, to make others use their brains.
Be it shocking, outrageous, or down right weird, Deuce Drop is all over the place dropping facts, and making them clear for all to see. Don't be fooled or concerned about the seemingly craziness; it's a way of life for the Deuce Drop.
Deuce's way of thinking helps him to truly analyze everything about the emotional rollercoaster that is life. One thing that has always been a big part of his writings, is, the ability to see all aspects of both sides, almost like, color commentating on life, seeing everything in an unbiased opinion, and writing it out the same way. Sometimes the events in life are more crazy then the imagination, and combined with the experiences of a Las Vegas local and an abstract perspective, you get the real Deuce Drop in his purest form.
