MTV Video Music Awards Odds Offered at betED

One of the most entertaining awards shows of the year will take place this weekend, and now you can bet on it thanks to betED. The sports book now offers MTV Video Music Awards odds so astute music fans can but their skills to the test against the oddsmakers.

"Umbrella," by songstress Rihanna with Jay-Z, and "Stronger" by Kanye West are small favorites at +200 to pick up a Moonman for Video of the Year, according to the bookies at betED. "What Goes Around… Comes Around" by Justin Timberlake is a close second at +250 followed by "D.A.N.C.E." by Justice at +325, "Irreplaceable" by Beyonce at +420 and "Rehab" by newcomer Amy Winehouse at +500.

The 2007 MTV Video Music Awards will be shown live at 9 p.m. EST Sunday from the Palms Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

Timberlake and Beyonce are at the top of the list of nominees with seven each. West and Rihanna come in second with five apiece and Winehouse makes a splash as a new artist with three nominations.

Live performances will come from 50 Cent, whose new album "Curtis" will be released on Sept. 11, along with Fall Out Boy, the Foo Fighters, Rihanna, West, Nelly Furtado, Timbaland, Chris Brown, Mark Ronson, T-Pain, Cee-Lo, Common and the Gym Class Heroes.

Presenters include Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Garner, Shia LaBeouf, Nicole Scherzinger, Rosario Dawson, Pamela Anderson, Jennifer Hudson, the "Entourage" boys, Robin Thicke, Alicia Keys and Eve.
