All eyes will be on television's brightest stars Sunday when the winners of the 60th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards are revealed. The awards will take place on September 21st and can be seen live on ABC. The event is held at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, CA.

The two major awards each night are for outstanding series in both comedy and drama. The four major networks dominate much of the nominations but in recent years cable networks have emerged to become major players in some of the top awards. HBO and Showtime have also produced series that have been nominated and nobody will no the winners until they are announced on September 21st.
