This is arguably the most important series of the year for these two teams. The Red Sox are nursing a fragile two game lead over Baltimore and two and a half over the Yankees. This series can change all of that in a hurry. The Red Sox need a legitimate closer and the Yankees need their starting rotation to find a consistent groove in the second half.
