WILLEMSTAD, CURACAO (February 22, 2005)-After two months, ABC's hit show "Dancing With The Stars" has reached its finale as only three celebrity teams remain in the competition. For the two-episode finale, Stacy Keibler, Drew Lachey, Jerry Rice and their professional partners will try to impress the television audience and judges through a series of dances. With the celebrities performing their final routines this week, Pinnacle Sportsbook has announced updated odds for the winner of the show for Dancing WIth the Stars betting.
The first bookmaker to post odds on "Dancing With The Stars," Pinnacle Sportsbook has updated betting lines on the show's finale and continues to list WWE wrestler Stacey Keibler as the overwhelming favorite to win the competition. After originally opening at 4/1 odds to win the competition in December, the wrestling "diva" has seen the most backing from bettors as she has waltzed her way past the other competitors and is now the odds-on favorite to win the competition at 1/2 odds. Although bettors clearly favor Keibler, Pinnacle Sportsbook lists former "boy band" star Drew Lachey at 9/5 odds to pull off the upset. The oddsmakers list former NFL great Jerry Rice as a huge 19/1 underdog for the show's finale following last week's controversy where many viewers felt that the football star should have been eliminated instead of soap star Lisa Rinna.
