The use of automation on our phone lines is not for us. Call centers designed to "get 'em on and off the line" are not for us. It's unfortunate that we've become programmed to accept the fact that when we call many companies we are given a choice of numbers to press and then still have to hold for 20 minutes for the "next available operator."
