Parc des Princes
Sweden will play at Parc des Princes when they take on Canada on Monday, June 24, 2019 in a Women's World Cup matchup. The opening line for this game has Sweden at +213 and Canada at +125. The line on the game being a draw has been set at +181.
In arguably the most anticipated match of the Round of 16, Sweden and Canada will be battling it out on Monday to see who can make it to the quarterfinals of the Women's World Cup. Both nations came into the tournament ranked in the top 10 in the world and put together strong performances during group play. Canada's only loss came against a very strong Netherlands team, while Sweden's only defeat was against the top-ranked United States. This is a tough one to predict, though Canada will come into the match as very slight favorites.
Sweden's only hiccup during the group stages was in their 2-0 defeat to the United States, which was expected. They did play very well against Chile and Thailand, though, dominating possession and putting plenty of shots on goal. The Swedes are at their best when they're on the front foot, so if they want to make it to the next round, they are going to have to be aggressive and not be intimidated by Canada's strong attack.

Key Players for Sweden:
Kosovare Asllani - Sweden's attacking midfielder has been the team's top attacking threat so far in this tournament, scoring four goals during qualifications and then two goals in her three group stage games. She will once again be counted on in this match against Canada, but she will be going up against a very tough defense.
Linda Sembrant - The 32-year-old defender is one of the most experienced players at the World Cup this year and she'll need to use that experience to both slow down Canada's attack and to keep her team in shape throughout this match. She'll also be counted on when Sweden has corner kicks as she is excellent in the air and has been known to score some very important goals for her country.
The Canadians played well in their three group stage matches, even in their loss to the Netherlands, but they struggled to put the ball in the back of the net despite creating many chances. Head coach Kenneth Heiner-Møller probably won't be making any major adjustments ahead of this match against Sweden because he knows that if they have their shooting boots on, this team can beat just about anyone in the world.
Key Players for Canada:
Christine Sinclair - The veteran captain will be the player to watch in this match as she is still Canada's top scoring threat and she'll be chomping at the bit to get this one started after only scoring one goal during the group stages. She now has 182 international goals in 285 appearances.
Kadiesha Buchanan - No one was sure if Buchanan would make the starting lineups for Canada in this tournament, but she's going to be one of the first players on the team sheet for this match after playing very well during the group stages. The 23-year-old has played excellent defense as the center of a back three or partnered in the middle, and she even chipped in with the winning goal against Cameroon in the opening fixture.
