7-Unit Play. Take ‘Under’ 2.5 France vs. Morocco (4 p.m. Thursday, July 9)
This should be a great battle between two of the world’s top 10 teams. These two teams met in the 2022 World Cup semifinals. France won that match 2-0. We see another low-scoring match. France has been putting up big scoring numbers in this tournament. They have not faced many good defensive teams. Paraguay held them to just one goal. Morocco is the best defensive team France has faced in this tournament. Morocco held Netherlands to just one goal. They held Brazil to one goal and they have two shutouts against Scotland and Canada. France’s defense has been undervalued. They have three shutouts and have allowed just one goal in their last four matches. One goal might be enough to send someone through. Take the ‘under’.

4-unit France-Morocco OVER 2.5 goals (90 mins -135) July 9th, 4:00 P.M. FOX/Telemundo/FOX One
We're backing the over because France and Morocco both play with enough attacking ambition and defensive vulnerability to push this quarterfinal past the total. France has been one of the tournament's most dangerous sides, with Mbappé driving constant pressure and a high line that leaves them exposed to Morocco's pace on the break and their sharp set‑piece delivery. Morocco thrives in transition, combines well through midfield, and has consistently created chances against stronger opponents. Both teams are comfortable in possession yet prone to lapses when stretched, producing end‑to‑end sequences and multiple scoring windows. With quarterfinal urgency pushing each side forward rather than into containment, this profiles as a match that will generate sustained chances and clear the number.

NOTE about LINES: This match immediately below is up at major sportsbooks as it is Europa League Qualifying. For example, at DraftKings you will see it listed under Europa League Quals. At FanDuel, for another example, you go to the soccer odds and in there you select Live/Upcoming and you will see it listed.
3-Unit Play. Take #224409/224410 'Over' 2.5 (-155) Universitatea Cluj at Dynamo Kiev (1 p.m., Thu, July 9) - in Poland
I am still kicking myself from yesterday's 6-unit play as I was looking at the Universitatea Craiova match as I follow football closely here in Romania and I did personally bet on the over in that match last night. However, at the time I was posting picks that one was up at FanDuel and not up at DraftKings and so I instead played the match involving Petrocub which is a team in neighboring Moldova. That was also an over 2.5 but despite being 1-1 at half a late first half red card ruined the game flow for the second half and we got burned on that 6-unit play. It happens but I am not happy about it and today I will not deter from a match involving a Romanian side again. I like the over plenty here for a multitude of reasons and luckily this one is up at both DraftKings and FanDuel and other major books too. Don't let the juice keep you away. Great spot here. 3* OVER 2.5 -155 in Dynamo Kiev (match played in Poland)
4-Unit Play. Take #225599/225560 'Over' 2.5 (+100) France vs Morocco (4 pm, Thu, July 9)
Unlike past Morocco teams, there is more emphasis with attacking on this club. Understandably France is favored but my point is that this one has 2-1, at least, written all over it! France is so potent on offense and we get line value here because France is off a 1-0 match and Morocco has not conceded much of late. The thing is France was scoring plenty prior to that tight low-scoring win and Morocco's backline will really be challenged here. At the same time, this Morocco club is built well to counter-attack France and the underdogs will get some great scoring chances too. I would not even be surprised if this one gets to 2-2 or 3-2 today. 4* OVER 2.5 +100 in France/Morocco

2 Unit Play. Take #225600 France -175 over Morocco (4p.m., Thursday, July 9 FOX) 3-way wager. We need France to win in regulation after stoppage time. If it goes to extra time or Morocco wins it is a loser.
We will back France with this high juice as I just cannot see them losing this game. France played a tough game against Paraguay and yet still found a way to score a goal. They have the much better offensive team in this game and they are destined to reach the semifinals for a third straight year.

3-Unit Play: Take France -180 over Morocco (4 p.m., Thursday, July 9)
We need France to win in regulation + stoppage time. We played Morocco and cashed an easy ticket when they beat Canada but now they’re playing what looks like the best team in the tournament. France continues to attack and put teams on the defensive and I expect more of the same today. Morocco will likely look to keep tight on the defensive end and counter but their top attacker, Ismael Saibari is nursing a hamstring injury. Whether he’s able to play close to normal or not, we’re siding with Les Bleus. I’m backing France. Thanks & GL! Scott Spreitzer.
