2026 PGA Championship Golf Predictions and Expert Betting Picks

Last week’s Truist Championship came down to the wire, but it was Krisoffer Reitan who emerged in the winner’s circle for his first PGA Tour win.
This week, the PGA Tour is gearing up for the second major of the season, that being the 108th playing of the PGA Championship. The field will consist of 156 players, which will include many of the top-ranked players in the world, such as Rory McIlroy, who will be looking for his second major win of the 2026 season, and Scottie Scheffler, the defending champion.
The PGA Championship is scheduled to begin on Thursday, May 14th, and will run through Sunday, May 17th. As always, my article will preview the event by providing you with a brief course overview, the outright betting odds, as well as my best bet to win the tournament, and my two favorite Top X Finish props.

The Course
The 108th PGA Championship will be contested at the Aronimink Golf Club in Newton Square, Pennsylvania. The Par 70 course measures 7394 yards and consists of 12 Par 4s, 4 Par 3s, and 2 Par 5s.
The Aronimink Golf Club is a Donald Ross-designed course and was built in 1929, before being updated in 2003 and 2018. This course is known for testing iron play, with big greens and plenty of bunkers, making it all the more important for the players to be dialed in on their approaches.

Best Bets
Cameron Young to Win The PGA Championship (+1600)
My top pick to win the PGA Championship will target Cameron Young. He had made huge strides on the PGA Tour in 2026, having already won twice this season, that being at The Players Championship and most recently at the Cadillac Championship.
Further, Young has six Top 10 finishes on the season, four of which were Top 5 finishes, including a T3 at The Masters, where he had a legitimate chance to win before fading on the Back Nine on Sunday.
Despite that, Young ranks 2nd in Strokes Gained: Total, 3rd in Scoring Average, 2nd in Par 4 scoring, and 7th in Birdie Average.
Young has never won a Major Championship in his career, but has come close on many occasions. Therefore, given his recent form, especially at some of the most exclusive tournaments, backing Young to win the PGA Championship is my best bet.
Ludvig Aberg to Finish Top 20 (Including Ties) (-110)
My best Top Finish prop at the PGA Championship will look for Ludvig Aberg to finish inside the Top 20. Aberg has had a great season to date, having made eight of 10 cuts and finishing inside the Top 20 six times.
This includes five of his last six starts: the Genesis Invitational (T20), Arnold Palmer Invitational (T3), The Players Championship (T5), the Valero Texas Open (T5), The Masters (T21), the RBC Heritage (T4), and last week at the Truist Championship (T8).
While Aberg has been consistent for most of the season, ranking 3rd in Strokes Gained: Total, 10th in Strokes Gained: Approach to Green, 9th in Scoring Average, and 3rd in Birdie Average, he tends to fade in Final Rounds, especially at premier events.
Given that, backing Aberg to Finish Inside the Top 20 will be my best Top Finish prop bet.
Alex Fitzpatrick to Finish Top 30 (Including Ties) (+200)
My second Top Finish pick for the PGA Championship will be for Alex Fitzpatrick to finish inside the Top 40. Fitzpatrick has sparingly played in PGA Tour events, but recently earned his PGA Tour card by winning the Zurich Classic with his brother, Matt Fitzpatrick, a few weeks ago.
Following his win at the Zurich Classic, Fitzpatrick has gone on to post two more Top 10 finishes, those being a T9 at the Cadillac Championship and a solo 4th last week at the Truist Championship.
This will be the first time that Fitzpatrick will tee it up at the PGA Championship or any Major Tournament for that matter, but given his recent form, especially with his newly earned status on the PGA Tour, backing Fitzpatrick to Finish Inside the Top 30 is my play.
