2026 PGA Picks: Houston Open Odds and Expert Betting Predictions

After a dramatic win by Matt Fitzpatrick at the Valspar Championship last week, the PGA Tour is set to head to Texas for the Texas Children’s Houston Open this week.
The tournament will begin on Thursday, March 26th, and will run until Sunday, March 29th. Like in previous weeks, many of the top-ranked players in the world will skip this event; however, many of the top 50 players in the world will still be teeing it up.
My article will preview this event, which will include a brief course preview, some of the top outright odds, plus my best bet for the tournament winner, and two Top 20 finish props.

The Course
This week’s Texas Children’s Houston Open will be played at the Memorial Park Golf Course in Houston, Texas. The course is a Par 70 and measures 7,475 yards. Further, the Memorial Park Golf Course consists of 10 Par 4s, five Par 3s, and four Par 4s.
Memorial Park Golf Course was originally designed in 1936 by John Bredemus and hosted the Houston Open from 1951 to 1963. More recently, the course was redesigned in 2019 by Tom Doak and has hosted this tournament ever since.
The defending champion, Min Woo Lee, won the event last year with a total score of 260 (-20) and will try to become the first back-to-back winner at this event since the mid-2000s.

Best Bets
Jake Knapp To Win (+2400)
My top pick to win the Texas Children’s Houston Open this week will be Jake Knapp. He has easily been one of the most consistent players on Tour this season, but has yet to break through with a win this season.
Through six events, Knapp has finished inside the Top 20 in five of them. His one missed Cut came at The Players Championship; however, this can be slightly overlooked as it was his first event back after he withdrew from the Arnold Palmer Invitational the week prior due to an injury.
Having taken last week off at the Valspar Championship, I expect Knapp to be back in top form, with a course where players have been known to go low. For that reason, backing Knapp to win the Texas Children’s Houston Open (+2400) will be my best bet.
Min Woo Lee to Finish Top 20 (Including Ties) (-124)
With some of the biggest names sitting out this week, Min Woo Lee is actually the favorite to win this tournament. That being said, I like him to finish inside the Top 20 this week.
Lee is likely the favorite this week because he is the defending champion, winning in 2025. This was also his first time playing this event, meaning he will be more familiar with the course this year.
This season, Lee has played a total of six events. He has finished inside the Top 20 in three of them, which include a T2 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, a T12 at The Genesis Invitational, and a T6 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
Winning the same event in back-to-back years is one of the toughest feats on the PGA Tour; therefore, given his recent run of good results, simply backing Lee to finish inside the Top 20 (-124) will be one of my best bets.
Brooks Koepka to Finish Top 20 (Including Ties) (+122)
Brooks Koepka is another player whom I am targeting to have a good week in Texas. One of the biggest storylines on the PGA Tour in 2026 was the “Return of Koepka to the PGA Tour.” His return started roughly, as he finished T56 at the Farmers Insurance Open and missed the Cut at the WM Phoenix Open.
Since then, Koepka has finished T9 at the Cognizant Classic, T13 at The Players Championship, and most recently, T18 at the Valspar Championship.
While Koepka appears to be getting closer to winning again on the PGA Tour, his recent run of Top 20 finishes suggests he could still be a few weeks away. For that reason, backing Koepka to finish inside the Top 20 (+122) will be my play.
