2026 PGA Picks: The Memorial Tournament Odds and Expert Betting Predictions

A playoff was needed at last week’s Charles Schwab Challenge, and it was Russell Henley who came out on top to pick up his sixth career PGA Tour win and his first win since the 2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational.
This week, the PGA Tour is gearing up for yet another signature event, that being The Memorial Tournament. Because this is a signature event, the field is stacked with the majority of the top players in the world.
The Memorial Tournament is set to begin on Thursday, June 4th, and will run through Sunday, June 7th. As always, my article will preview this event by providing you with a brief course overview, the outright betting odds, my best bet to win the event, and my two favorite Top Finish props.

Best Bets
Cameron Young to Win The Memorial Tournament (+1450)
My top pick to win The Memorial Tournament this week will target Cameron Young. Young is easily having one of the best seasons on the PGA Tour as he ranks 2nd in the FedEx Cup Standings.
Young has finished inside the Top 20 in six of his 11 events this season, which includes a win a The Players Championship and a win at the Cadillac Championship. On top of that, he has had several other close calls, nearly winning The Masters (T3) and the Arnold Palmer Invitational (T3).
This season, Young ranks 3rd in Strokes Gained: Total, 6th in Strokes Gained: Off the Tee, 6th in Total Driving, 3rd in Scoring Average, 2nd in Par 4 Scoring Average, and 8th in Birdie Average.
His putting has sometimes been inconsistent this season; however, with his ability to put the ball close to the pin, he has been known to heat up the putter at a moment’s notice. Therefore, because Young has consistently contended at the majority of the events he has played in, backing Young to win The Memorial Tournament will be my best bet.
Patrick Cantlay to Finish Top 20 (Including Ties) (-122)
My favorite ‘Top X Finish’ prop will look for Patrick Cantlay to finish inside the Top 20. While Cantlay has not been the most consistent player this season, ranking 39th in the FedEx Cup Standings, he has put together some solid starts recently. In fact, Cantlay has finished inside the Top 20 in four of his last five events, the most recent being a T10 at the Truist Championship a few weeks ago.
Further, Cantlay now ranks 17th in Strokes Gained: Total, 16th in Scoring Average, and 15th in Par 4 Scoring Average. He has also had plenty of success at this event in particular throughout his career, which includes two wins (2019 and 2021), as well as a solo 4th in 2018, a T3 in 2022, and a T12 in 2025.
Given his success at this event and his recent stretch of solid finishes, backing Cantlay to Finish Inside the Top 20 at The Memorial Tournament will be my play.
Alex Smalley to Finish Top 20 (Including Ties) (+144)
My second favorite ‘Top X Finish’ prop will once again look for Alex Smalley to finish inside the Top 20. With the T3 last week at the Charles Schwab Challenge, Smalley has now finished inside the Top 20 in six consecutive events.
He continues to be one of the most consistent players on Tour in recent weeks and now ranks 11th in Strokes Gained: Total, 17th in Strokes Gained: Approach to Green, 6th in Green in Regulation %, 8th in Scoring Average, and 4th in Par 4 Scoring Average.
Smalley easily hit on my Top 20 pick last week at the Charles Schwab Challenge; therefore, given how strong his game has been over the last month, backing Smalley to again Finish Inside the Top 20 at The Memorial Tournament will be my play.
