Heading into this series between the Baltimore Orioles and New York Yankees, all the talk was about Derek Jeter’s last home opener. With the Wednesday night pitching matchup featuring Masahiro Tanaka for the Yankees and Miguel Gonzalez for the Orioles, the fans will be in for an entertaining game between two American League East rivals.

Brett Gardner is 4-for-12 in his career against Gonzalez while Kelly Johnson is 3-for-9, Ichiro is 4-for-16 and Derek Jeter is 2-for-8, while the team is batting .290 overall against the native of Mexico.
