Los Angeles Angels starter Tyler Skaggs is expected to come off of the disabled list on Wednesday night and he will face off against John Danks and the Chicago White Sox.

Tyler Skaggs last made a start back on June 5 when he gave up four runs in five innings of work and was beaten by the Houston Astros. He allowed seven hits in that outing and walked three batters while striking out four. On the year, Skaggs is 4-4 through 12 starts and he has only given up six home runs in 76.2 innings.

Skaggs will be facing the White Sox for the first time in his career on Wednesday night. They have good right-handed hitters, but Skaggs has held righties to a .231 batting average in 225 at-bats this season.

Left-hander John Danks picked up his seventh win of the season last Friday when he was able to defeat the Toronto Blue Jays on the road. He allowed just two runs on five hits in six innings that day, and he walked no one while striking out two. Danks now has a 7-6 record with a 4.26 ERA, but he is walking a lot more hitters than he did in 2013.

Shortstop Erick Aybar has faced Danks more than any of the other Angles, but he is just 3-for-23 against the lefty with three strikeouts.
