Tuesday night, the Miami Marlins will give the ball to Jacob Turner as they take on the Atlanta Braves and Mike Minor. Turner makes his 10^th start and 18^th appearance as Minor makes his 15^th start.

Jacob Turner didn't factor into the decision in his last outing and that held his record at 2 -6 with a 6.22 ERA. Turner hasn't had a victory since early June and it looks like that streak might continue unless he can figure out what isn't working for him. It wasn't the best of outings for Minor but a strong offense bailed him out. The win was the first for Minor since the middle of May. Last season, Minor posted a record of 13 - 9 with an ERA of 3.21 in 32 starts.

In 2013, Minor didn't face the Marlins but he has seen the lineup before. Minor would be wise to pitch around Giancarlo Stanton because Stanton is batting .263 with 4 homers and 6 RBIs when facing the lefty.
