BC Lions Stats
The Lions have been let down by their offense this season in just about every conceivable way. They are second-from-bottom in scoring with just 22.7 points per game and they are last in rushing yards with just 904. Their defense has been a bit better, though, giving up just 25.3 points per game and coming up with the most pass knockdowns in the CFL with 41.
BC quarterback Travis Lulay has been able to complete 61.5 percent of his passes this season for 1,804 yards with eight touchdowns and four interceptions. The team's top wide receiver has been Bryan Burnham, who has been able to catch 36 passes for 526 yards and a team-high four touchdowns. Veteran running back Jeremiah Johnson has averaged 5.5 yards per carry in eight games played this year and he has scored five touchdowns on the ground.
Lions fourth-year linebacker Bo Lokombo is having the best season of his career so far by picking up 50 total tackles, one sack and one interception. Veteran defensive end is having yet another solid season, picking up a team-best eight sacks to go along with his 16 tackles. Odell Willis Sophomore defensive back Winston Rose has 22 total tackles and he leads the team in interceptions with four.
Montreal Alouettes Stats
Things couldn't be going much worse for Montreal this year. On the offensive side of the ball they are last in scoring, last in passing touchdowns, and they have turned the ball over 31 times. Their defense hasn't been that much better, ranking second-to-last in points allowed and only coming up with 20 total sacks through 11 games.
Montreal will probably be starting quarterback Johnny Manziel, who has thrown for 272 yards, zero touchdowns and four interceptions in his brief time with the team. Montreal's top wide receiver has been B.J. Cunningham, who now has 47 catches for 588 yards and three scores through 11 games and he is the only player on the team with more than one receiving touchdown. Running back Tyrell Sutton has averaged 4.8 yards per carry on the year and he has 417 yards with just one rushing touchdown.
Veteran linebacker Henoc Muamba has been the Alouettes top player on the defensive side of the ball by coming up with 68 tackles and two sacks. Defensive back Branden Dozier has also had an impressive year by coming up with 68 total tackles and a team-high three interceptions. Linebacker Chip Cox currently leads the team with three forced fumbles and he also has 35 tackles and one sack in his 13th season with the team.
