Their even better on defense as they have given up the fewest points in the league and they have forced the most fumbles. Their biggest struggles have come in their ground game, ranking fifth in rushing yards and seventh in rushing touchdowns.
Calgary quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell has been one of the best overall players in the league so far this season, throwing for 3,360 yards with 25 touchdown passes against just eight interceptions. Mitchell's favorite target has been Jorden Kamar, who has caught 55 passes for 944 yards and six touchdowns. Calgary's top scorer has been wide receiver DaVaris Daniels, who has 49 catches and 750 yards with seven touchdowns.
Third-year linebacker Stampeders has been tracking down opponents all season and he currently leads the CFL in total tackles with 80. Defensive lineman Micah Johnson has also had an excellent season so far, picking up a team-high six sacks while also grabbing one interception and forcing three fumbles. Another player having a good year is lineman Ja'Gared Davis, who has 40 total tackles, three sacks and two interceptions.

They are also ranked in the top four in just about every major offensive category, including passing yards where they are ranked second. Their defense has given up just 253 points through 11 games, which makes them the third stingiest defensive unit in the league right now.
Tiger-Cats wide receiver Brandon Banks, who was named CFL Top Performer of the Week for Week 12, has caught 69 passes this season for 1,033 yards and seven touchdowns as he continues to have his best season in the league. Quarterback Jeremiah Masoli has completed 67 percent of his passes for 3,576 yards, 16 touchdowns and 11 interceptions through 11 games. Running back Alex Green has only played in five games so far this season, but he has already rushed for 416 yards and a team-high seven rushing touchdowns.
Hamilton's defense has been led by linebacker Simoni Lawrence, who has 52 total tackles and three sacks. The team's sack leader is lineman Don Unamba, who has taken opposing quarterbacks down four times so far this season. Their top defensive back has been Cariel Brooks, who has been able to pick off two passes while also forcing three fumbles and defend three other passes.
