The Northwestern Wildcats will meet the Iowa Hawkeyes in the first round of the Big Ten Conference Tournament on this Thursday. These two haven't seen each other since Jan. 25 and the Wildcats would love to forget about it as they were embarrassed on their home court by a score of 76-50.
The first half ended with Iowa leading by six by a score of 30-24. Iowa couldn't separate themselves from the Wildcats and went more than six minutes without a basket at one point in the first half. In the second half, Iowa put it on Northwestern with the help of Gabriel Olaseni and Roy Devyn Marble. Olaseni had 14 points and 10 rebounds while Marble added 14 points, five rebounds and two assists.
