Not many people are giving San Diego State (31-4) much of a chance against #1 seed Arizona (32-4) but that might be the way the Aztecs like it. SDSU has made the Sweet 16 for the second time in four years but look to avenge a 74-67 loss to Connecticut in 2011. The Wildcats have some work to do themselves after bowing out to Ohio State in this round last year.

San Diego State needed OT to win the 13/4 matchup in the first round of the tourney, finally fending off New Mexico State 73-69. The Aztecs then redeemed themselves in the minds of bettors by ending North Dakota State's dream run by the final of 63-44 as just 4 point favorites. Xavier Thames is looking to become a household name this tournament after scoring 53 in the first weekend.

Arizona wasn't able to cover the massive 19.5 point spread in their first round game by winning 68-59 but fared much better in round two by winning by 23 over Gonzaga. The title is within reach for Arizona behind Nick Johnson, Aaron Gordon, and Ronda Hollis-Jefferson, who have accounted for 100 of Arizona's 154 points so far in this bracket.

Oddsmakers have made Arizona the favorite with a -6.5 line. The game at the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA is only an hour and a half away from San Diego, which gives SDSU a major travel advantage even though Tuscon is just 7 hours away and the Wildcat fan base is much larger.
