St. Louis suffered only their second loss in 10 games after a 4-0 beating at the hands of Chicago Wednesday but the Blues will have two full off days to regroup for the game against Philadelphia. The Flyers aim to defend their solid home ice record and continue their solid play as of late.
St. Louis goalie Ryan Miller is 7-2 with the Blues since making his first start with the team on March 2nd. He'll likely want to get back on the ice quickly and avenge his last start where the Blackhawks scored 4 goals on just 30 shots. Prior to the Chicago loss the Blues had won 8 of 9 games in their race to acquire the franchise's first Presidents Trophy since the 1999/2000 season.
Philadelphia has been hot as of late, posting a three game win streak and being victorious in 7 of 10 overall. The Flyers won back to back games against Pittsburgh and Chicago as underdogs of +132 and +115 and have a slight edge over the Rangers for home ice in their probably first round matchup.
The Flyers hope for a different outcome than the last time the teams met up, a 4-2 loss yet again on their home ice although it was back in 2011. Of the 6 total players that scored goals for both teams that day only T.J. Oshie and Carlo Colaiacovo remain with their squads, both on the Blues. On that day back in 2011 Philly was -179 home favorites but were unable to reward their backers while the over 5.5 goals hit as well.

St Louis is 11-17-6 against the over/under on the road this season
Philadelphia is 20-13 straight up at home this season
Philadelphia is 13-16-3 against the over/under at home this season
