For Toronto, after beating Chicago on Saturday 3-2, fell to Arizona 3-2 on Tuesday night. After falling behind 3-0, the Maple Leafs saw goals from Dion Phaneuf and Cody Franson to tighten it up. Toronto was never able to get the tying goal past Arizona goaltender Mike Smith. The Maple Leafs are led in scoring by Phil Kessel. The left wing has 6 goals and 10 assists on the season, which is among the league leaders. Toronto as a team is scoring 2.8 goals per game, and allowing opponents to score 2.6 per game.
