2026 PGA Picks: Cadillac Championship Odds and Expert Betting Predictions

Last week’s Zurich Classic of New Orleans came down to the wire, but it was Matt and Alex Fitzpatrick who came away with a win after the brothers birdied the final hole.
This week, the PGA Tour heads to Miami, Florida, for the first-ever Cadillac Championship. The signature event field will include world number one Scottie Scheffler, as well as plenty of the top players in the world. However, Rory McIlroy will not be in the field this week.
The Cadillac Championship will begin on Thursday, April 30th, and run through Sunday, May 3rd.
My article will preview this event by including a course overview, the outright betting odds, as well as my best bet to win the tournament, and my two favorite Top 20 Finish prop bets.
The Course
The Cadillac Championship will be played at Trump National Doral — Blue Monster Course. This course is a Par 72 and measures 7739 yards. It is made up of four Par 5s, four Par 3s, and 10 Par 4s.
While the Cadillac Championship is a new signature event tournament, the Blue Monster Course is not new to the PGA Tour.
The course was designed by Dick Wilson and was a part of the PGA Tour’s regular rotation from 1962 to 2016. A redesign took place in 2013-204, and after nearly a 10-year hiatus, it will make its return to the PGA Tour this week.

Best Bets
Collin Morikawa to Win the Cadillac Championship (+1950)
My top pick to win the Cadillac Championship is Collin Morikawa. Other than missing the cut at the Sony Open, finishing T54 at the WM Phoenix Open, and having to withdraw from The Players Championship, Morikawa has finished inside the Top 10 five times and inside the Top 5 three times.
This includes a win at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, a T7 at the Genesis Invitational, a solo 5th at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, a T7 at the Masters, and a T4 at the RBC Heritage. He is ranked 6th in Shots Gained: Total, 1st in Shots Gained: Approach to Green, 3rd in Scoring Average, and 5th in Birdie Average.
His putting tends to be the major factor in keeping him from pushing for a win, but with the rest of his game in top form, backing Morikawa to win the Cadillac Championship will be my best bet.
Jake Knapp to Finish Top 20 (Including Ties) (-102)
My best Top Finish prop for the Cadillac Championship is for Jake Knapp to finish inside the Top 20. In the nine events Knapp has played this season, he has finished inside the Top 20 in seven of them. This included a solo 11th at The Masters Tournament, as well as five other Top 10 finishes.
His most recent start at the RBC Heritage resulted in a T74 finish; however, Knapp ranks 7th in Strokes Gained: Putting, 12th in Total Driving, and 2nd in Scoring Average, suggesting he will be able to bounce back this week.
Despite the poor finish at the RBC Heritage, Knapp has been consistent for the majority of the season; therefore, backing Knapp to finish inside the Top 20 is my play.
Akshay Bhatia to Finish Top 20 (Including Ties) (+136)
To go along with Knapp to finish inside the Top 20, I also like Akshay Bhatia to finish inside the Top 20. Bhatia has overall had an excellent 2026 season thus far. After missing the cut in the first two events he played, he finished inside the Top 20 in five consecutive tournaments, which included a win in a playoff at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
Bhatia also missed the cut at the Masters Tournament, but bounced back the following week with a T16 at the RBC Heritage.
While his driving this season has been well below-average, Bhatia has made up for it by ranking 10th in Strokes Gained: Approach to Green, 5th in Strokes Gained: Putting, 18th in Scoring Average, and 2nd in Birdie Average.
Therefore, given his consistent play, backing Bhatia to finish inside the Top 20 is my play.
