PGA Picks: The Players Championship Golf Odds and Expert Betting Predictions

A dramatic finish to The Arnold Palmer Invitational this past weekend saw Akshay Bhatia storm back to defeat Daniel Berger in a playoff, picking up his third career PGA Tour win.
This week is expected to be just as good as the top players in the world get set to tee it up at The Players Championship.
Widely known as the unofficial fifth major, this tournament is set to take place at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, and will run from Thursday, March 12th to Sunday, March 15th.
Our article is set to break down the odds for this week’s tournament, as well as provide you with our best bets, which will include an outright winner and our favorite Top 20 Finish props.

Best Bets
Ludvig Aberg to Win The Players Championship (+2700)
The player I am looking at this week to win The Players Championship is Ludvig Aberg. He has played in five events this season, having most recently finished T3 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational this past week.
Aberg had a slow start to his 2026 season, but his recent result at the Arnold Palmer Invitational would suggest that he will be more consistent going forward.
Further, Aberg has played The Players Championship twice in his career, with his best finish coming in 2024, when he finished 8th, before missing the Cut in 2025.
Despite missing the Cut in his 2025 start at The Players Championship, Aberg should still be considered one of the best players on Tour. He has two wins on the PGA Tour in his career and has come close several other times.
Winning The Players Championship would put Aberg even more on the map; therefore, given his recent result at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and his past success at this tournament, backing Aberg to win The Players Championship (+2700) will be my best bet.
Si Woo Kim to Finish Top 20 (Including Ties) (+112)
One of my favorite Top 20 Finish prop bets this week will focus on Si Woo Kim. He has had a solid 2026 season thus far, finishing inside the Top 20 in five of the seven events he has played.
Kim has also played in The Players Championship 10 times in his PGA Tour career. This includes a Win in 2017, a T9 in 2021, and a T6 in 2024. His 2025 result was a T38; however, given his current form and the fact that he has had success at TPC Sawgrass in the past, backing Kim to finish inside the Top 20 (+112) will be my best bet.
Akshay Bhatia to Finish Top 20 (Including Ties) (+186)
Another one of my favorite Top 20 bets for The Players Championship will target last week’s winner, Akshay Bhatia. He has only been on the PGA Tour for a handful of years, but is starting to find his stride, having just picked up his third PGA Tour win.
Additionally, Bhatia has arguably been one of the most consistent players so far in 2026. In six events this season, Bhatia has finished inside the Top 20 four times, which, of course, includes one win.
Bhatia has also had success at The Players Championship, having played this event twice in his young career. In 2024, Bhatia missed the Cut with a score of E, but last year in 2025, he finished T3 with a score of -10.
This week’s field is stacked, which is partly why his odds to finish inside the Top 20 are well into plus-money.
That being said, his game is peaking, plus he has finished inside the Top 20 in four straight starts. For that reason, backing Bhatia to finish inside the Top 20 (+186) is my best bet.
