On Saturday afternoon, the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks (3-4) and the Texas A&M Aggies (5-3) will both be looking to end their three-game losing streaks when they face each other in Texas. UL Monroe is currently sixth in the Sun Belt while the Aggies are sixth in the SEC West.
UL Monroe was outscored 15-0 in the fourth quarter in their game against Texas State last weekend and ended up losing 22-18. Their defense was unable to force a turnover in that loss and they gave up 229 rushing yards.
The Warhawks have only been able to score 17.6 points per game while giving up 27.1 points per game to their opponents. Their best offensive player has been wide receiver Ajalen Holley, who has caught 30 passes for 534 yards and five touchdowns. Quarterback Pete Thomas has thrown for 1,562 yards this season with seven touchdowns and four interceptions.
Texas A&M lost their third straight game two weeks ago when they were blown out 59-0 by Alabama on the road. They had just 172 total yards in that game while giving up 602 yards to Alabama's offense.
The Aggies currently have the fifth-best passing team in the nation with 364.1 passing yards per game. Quarterback Kenny Hill has completed 66.7 percent of his passes this season for 2,649 yards, 23 touchdowns and just eight interceptions. Wide receiver Josh Reynolds has caught 32 of Hill's passes for 518 yards and eight scores.
