The Miami Heat didn't get huge games from their stars in Game 1 of their Eastern Conference semifinal series with the Brooklyn Nets, but they still had a pretty easy time against them and ended up winning 107-86 on their home floor.

Miami was better in just about every statistical category, including shooting 56.8% from the floor and holding the Nets to 47.1%. The main reason for their heightened field goal percentage was that they outscored New Jersey 52-28 in points in the paint.

The game was a close contest through the first two quarters, with the Heat leading by just three points going into the half. After that, though, Miami took over and never looked back. They outscored the Nets 33-23 in the third period and then cruised to a 21-point victory.

LeBron James made 10 of his 15 shots in the game for Miami and finished with 22 points, five rebounds and three assists. Chris Bosh contributed a double-double in the win by scoring 15 points and grabbing 11 rebounds, while Dwyane Wade had 14 points, five assists and four rebounds.

Nets point guard Deron Williams went 7-for-10 from the field and ended up scoring 17 points. Joe Johnson also had 17 points for the visitors, while backup shooting guard Marcus Thornton came off of the bench to score 11 points. Kevin Garnett didn't score a point and spent just 16 minutes on the floor in the loss.
