Memphis has been in and out of the playoff race the past couple of weeks only to find themselves in a virtual deadlock with Phoenix for the final postseason spot. The schedule makers aren't doing the Grizzlies any favors in that quest, sending them to San Antonio to take on the Spurs with just 6 games remaining.

The Grizzlies even being in the playoff hunt is somewhat of a minor miracle considering their poor play lately. Over the course of the last week Memphis has lost 3 of 4 games including back to back games in Denver and Minnesota in which they were favored by 5 and 4 points respectively. The Grizzlies have 6 games left with 3 at home and 3 away, hoping to improve on their successful 21-17 road record starting Sunday in San Antonio.

The Spurs proved they weren't some robotic unbeatable force after finally losing to Oklahoma City on Thursday 94-106. Prior to that San Antonio had won 19 straight games and have essentially locked up home court throughout the playoffs at the AT&T Center where they're 30-8 this year.

The Spurs look to finish out the year with a 4-0 record against the Grizzlies, having beaten them 101-94 in the season opener, 102-86 on November 22nd, and 110-108 on January 7th. San Antonio has been favored in every game and has gone 2-1 ATS against Memphis a year after sweeping them out of the Western Conference Finals.
