Note: Like Friday this line is all over the place from book to book. There are -1.5, -2.5 or -3 at books. Whatever line you get it is a play with South Carolina.
7 Unit Play. Take #3136 South Carolina -2 over Texas (3p.m., Sunday, March 8 ESPN) WOMEN’S COLLEGE BASKETBALL Always like South Carolina in this matchup, as I do not believe Texas is good enough to beat them twice in the same season. The Gamecocks have defeated the Longhorns in 4 of the last 6 meetings dating back to last season. South Carolina is looking for their fourth straight SEC Championship after defeating Texas last season by a score of 64-45. Dawn Staley is 8-0 in postseason play (conference or NCAA) against Vic Schaefer. Every year Texas appears to have a ceiling and it never involves beating South Carolina when it matters most. Both teams enter off great years, but South Carolina has enough offense led by Joyce Edwards to break down this Texas defense and score enough points in this game to win and over the spread.

7 Unit Play. Take #3140 TCU -3.5 over West Virginia (5p.m., Sunday, March 8 ESPN) WOMEN’S COLLEGE BASKETBALL The Big XII is just not very good this season outside of TCU and West Virginia. The Frogs are going for back-to-back regular season and conference tournament championships. They have won 8 straight games and the closest margin of victory during those 8 wins was 7 points. West Virginia played the second game yesterday and it was a low scoring grinder that they pulled out by one point against Colorado. TCU won the earlier meeting this season by 9 points and that is how I see this game going as well.
