On Saturday, the Miami (Ohio) RedHawks will be hoping that they can win their first game of the season when they take on the Michigan Wolverines on the road.
Miami (Ohio) moved to 0-2 on the year last weekend when they were defeated 17-10 by Eastern Kentucky. The RedHawks did have 445 yards of offense in that game, but they also turned the ball over six times. They have passed for over 338 yards per game this season, which ranks them 17th in the country.
RedHawks quarterback Andrew Hendrix has 677 passing yards this season with four touchdowns and four interceptions. Top receiver David Frazier has caught 13 passes for 215 yards through two games.
On their first tough matchup of the season, Michigan was shut out 31-0 by Notre Dame last Saturday. They were only able to gain 289 yards in the loss and they turned the ball over four times. The Wolverines have only been able to pass for 200 yards per game this year, which ranks them 87th in the country.
Michigan's top player through two games has been junior wide receiver Devin Funchess, who has 16 catches for 202 yards and three touchdowns. Sophomore running back Derrick Green has been able to average seven yards per carry with one score this year. Quarterback Devin Gardner has 362 passing yards with three touchdowns and three interceptions.
