I am expecting 4 or better here but lets keep this at a 2 unit and go with the over 2.5 goals. Newcastle is off of a 2-2 match that was eventually decided on penalties. That was the 7th time in the last 10 matches that a Newcastle match totaled at least 3 goals. Also, they have scored multiple goals in 6 straight matches on their home pitch and this one is at St James Park. As for Manchester City, they are off the 10-1 beating of Exeter and they also would like some revenge for a 2-1 loss to Newcastle in Premier League action earlier this season. I know that City had not been scoring a whole lot prior to the win in English FA Cup action but this is, of course, a very dangerous club offensively. Coupled with being out for revenge here and, no matter who is on the pitch for this one City is likely to turn this into a back and forth affair with a Newcastle side that is so strong at home. That means at least a 2-2 type of battle is likely here. The last 4 meetings here in Premier League action have averaged 4 goals and this one should get into that range as well. 2* OVER 2.5 (-200) in Newcastle
