The Buffalo Sabres last played the New Jersey Devils in early January and were able to beat them 2-1 on home ice. The win was just the 12th of the season for the last place Sabres, but it was their fifth straight home win. After no goals were scored in the first period, Matt Moulson got the Sabres on the board first with a power-play goal with just 31 seconds remaining in the second period.
