Last Thursday the 2016-17 PGA Tour Safeway Open in Napa, California, started and was missing one major name to the tournament, Tiger Woods. Woods highly-anticipated return to the PGA Tour was put on hold after he withdrew from the Safeway Open, citing concerns about the state of his game. His concerns about the state of his game don't have any effect upon the state of golf gambling because another man's concerns can be a profitable gain for someone else.
The Safeway Open was supposed to be Woods' first start in a PGA Tour event since the 2015 Wyndham Championship 14 months ago. I believe Woods could have played this weekend, but as we all know golf is usually an all-mental game and maybe Woods is physically healthy but not mentally healthy. With age, multiple back surgeries and a fractured ego cracked open by his own private excesses gone public, he is probably second-guessing everything he does on the course.

Our friends over at MyBookie have taken Tiger Woods' cracked ego and used it towards their favor as MyBookie has posted three Tiger Woods betting props for the 2016-17 PGA Tour schedule. Who knows how many tournaments Tiger Woods will play this year and who knows how Woods will play when he does decide to step on the course. All I know is that Tiger Woods' best golf days are behind him, and these young guns on the course have no fear of him.
Tiger Woods - Majors Played in 2017
No Majors Played +375
1 Major Played +120
2 Majors Played +145
3 Majors Played +450
4 Majors Played +600
Free Play - One Major Played is the betting pick, but I believe Woods plays in two Majors. Circle April 6 on your calendar because in Augusta, Georgia, Tiger Woods will play in the Masters. And if he plays the Masters I see him teeing off at the US Open. Take Two Majors Played +145 and get this before the numbers move.
Tiger Woods - Majors to Make the Cut in 2017
Makes the Cut in 0 Majors -120
Makes the Cut in 1 Major +130
Makes the Cut in 2 Majors +375
Makes the Cut in 3 Majors +600
Makes the Cut in 4 Majors 15-1
Free Play - I wish I could say jump on either of these plus money props, but I just don't see Tiger Woods making the cut on either major tournaments he plays. Having back problems as a golfer is almost as bad as having knee problems in basketball. Tiger Woods will play in either one or two Majors this upcoming golf season and I see him at home watching those Majors on Saturday and Sunday. Take 'Makes the Cut in 0 Majors -120' as age and injuries caught up to Tiger Woods.
Tiger Woods - Majors to Finish in the Top 10 (2017)
Zero Majors to Finish in Top 10 -250
1 Major to Finish in Top 10 +165
2 Majors to Finish in Top 10 +500
3 Majors to Finish in Top 10 +700
4 Majors to Finish in Top 10 25-1
Free Play - As I said up above Tiger Woods will not make the cut in any Majors, so if you do the math Tiger Woods will have zero Top-10 finishes in any majors this year. I know -250 seems high, but with his health and metal state laying -250 probably is too low.
