The NBA is off to a fast start with four undefeated teams remaining as of Dec. 29. Those undefeated teams are all teams you’d least expect at the top, including the Cleveland Cavaliers, Orlando Magic, Atlanta Hawks and the Indiana Pacers. The season has already given us a couple surprises, and that won’t stop as we continue on with a shortened and delayed season in the 2021-2022 season. In the second games of the conference quarterfinals, the Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Lakers took their first loss to heart and absolutely destroyed their opposition in the second game. Nothing should change in game three between those two teams. The other two games will feature the Pacers, who are now down 2-0 to the Heat, and the Thunder, who are down 2-0 to the Russ Westbrook-less Rockets. The NBA season is back after a long pause due to the Coronavirus outbreak. The NBA will be playing their games in Orlando, where they’ve built a bubble to prevent the spread of the virus between their players and staff. With protocols in place, the NBA is finally able to finish their season and then move into the playoffs with a different playoff picture set-up. There are some big names and faces that have opted out of the season, including basically the entire Nets roster.
