On Monday, the Bucks took down the Orlando Magic 109-102, moving to 17-6 on the season. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the team, scoring 34 points and chipping in 13 rebounds, while the Magic had a very balanced scoring attack, as four players scored 19+ points. Beating the dead last Magic is nothing to get too excited about, but taking care of business on the road can always prove challenging. From a betting perspective, we went 1-1. The Bucks failed to cover the 9.5-point spread, despite being up 19 points in the second half. However, fortunately, Paolo Bachero soared above his 2.5 assists prop, dishing out a season high 7 dimes on Monday.

Khris Middleton made his return from injury, scoring 17 points in 27 minutes, while the Bucks were led by Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jrue Holiday, putting up 40 and 28, respectively. From a betting standpoint, we went 1-2 in the contest.

On Wednesday night, the Bucks took down the Knicks 109-103 extending their win streak to 3 games. They were led by a monster performance from the usual suspect, Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Greek Freak put up 37 points to go along with his 13 rebounds and 7 assists. Antetokounmpo continues to dominate at both ends of the court, and the rising supporting cast makes this team a very fun one to watch.

Last Friday night, the Bucks took on the Cavaliers, and overcame a 16-point deficit to win 117-102. Unfortunately, we went 0-3 on our bets as the score finished just Over 217, Darius Garland finished 2 points short at 20, and the Cavs blew a 16-point first half lead. As I’ve said before, long term consistency is the objective. The Bucks were led by 38 points from Giannis Antetokounmpo as he continues to carry this Bucks team. After beating the Mavericks on Sunday, the Bucks look to extend their win streak to 3 games and close the gap on the Celtics for the number 1 seed.

On Wednesday night, the Bucks fell to the Bulls by a score of 118-113, on their home court. Giannis Antetokounmpo and DeMar DeRozan both scored 36 points, but the Bulls role players stepped up when they needed to in the 4th quarter. From a betting standpoint, we went 0-2. The Bucks failed to cover the 6.5 points we were asked to lay, and DeRozan easily cleared his 25.5 points prop. We rightfully treaded lightly, as it was a trap game for the Bucks, so the damage was minimal.

Monday night, the Bucks took down the Portland Trail Blazers, 119-111, after leading for the entire second half. Our biggest bet of the night was on Over 214.5, which cashed with ease, while we lost the two smaller bets on Jerami Grant Over 20.5 Points (He finished with 18), and Bucks -10 (They won by 8). We were close to a sweep, but finished even on units, so I can’t complain. Once again, the Bucks were led by Giannis Antetokounmpo’s 37 points, shooting 16/24 from the field.

On Friday, The Bucks lost to the 76ers 110-102, failing to cover a road underdogs. We lost our first bet, Bucks Moneyline, but cashed Tyrese Maxey Under 5.5 assists, as he finished with 5. Jrue Holiday made his return from injury, although he was limited to a bench role, putting up 10 points in the contest. The Bucks were led by Giannis Antetokounmpo’s 25 points, but shooting 10/22 from the floor and 4/15 from the charity stripe cost the Bucks a victory.

The Bucks beat a healthy Cavs lineup while missing Jrue Holiday, which shows the level this team is on. They are playing like the best team in the NBA. And once their stars return, they will be borderline unstoppable.

The Bucks perfect record has been broken, and they now sit 2nd in the East at 10-3. While losing three of their last four is worrying, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jrue Holiday missed time with injuries and forced the Bucks to lean on their remaining role players. Adding to the misery, Grayson Allen got a knock on his ankle on Monday night and will not be available. Going into Wednesday’s matchup with the Cavaliers, Antetokounmpo will be back, but Middleton and Wesley Matthews remain out, while Holiday and Pat Connaughton are questionable.

On Monday the Bucks took their first loss of the season, getting blown out by the Hawks, who were missing Trae Young, by a score of 117-98. Dejounte Murray led the way, putting up 25 points, while role player AJ Griffin dropped 24, going 10/16 from the floor. From a betting perspective, we went 1-1. We correctly picked the Hawks would pick up the win in the +130 underdog role, calling the Bucks first loss of the season. Thirty-two-year-old Jrue Holiday has stepped up in his absence, posting career bests in 3-pointers (2.4), rebounds (5.7), and assists (7.9). Thanks to the leaps Holiday has taken, and the phenomenal play from Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Bucks are easily one of the title favorites. Until the bookies start showing them more respect, they will continue to cover the short spreads on offer.

The Hawks went all in this season and finally got Trae Young a second star in the form of Dejounte Murray from the Spurs. Murray’s addition has taken some of the pressure off Young and has allowed the Hawks to have a much more fluid, balanced offensive attack. This was most recently demonstrated against the Pelicans on Saturday night, as the Hawks pulled out a gritty overtime win in front of the Atlanta faithful.

Beats like that hurt, but money was still made thanks to the Bucks cover.

The Bucks improved to 6-0 on Monday night, taking down the Pistons, 110-108. The teams are running it back as Detroit stays in Milwaukee to see if tonight’s matchup can go their way. The Bucks entered the 4th quarter with an 11-point lead and appeared to be en route to a comfortable win. However, the Pistons made it close, covering the 13-point spread with ease. The Bucks were led by 24 points from Brook Lopez, 25 from Jrue Holiday, and 31 from Giannis Antetokounmpo. The scoring for the Pistons was much more spread out, with six players finishing in double digits, including 27 from Cade Cunningham.

Joining in on the defensive end was Brook Lopez, posting 6 blocks, improving his record to 11 blocks in the last 2 games. They remain the only undefeated team in the league. And once Khris Middleton returns, will transform into an unstoppable force.
