Brace yourselves for another big night of NBA action with our carefully chosen prop bets. With a lot of basketball to digest and research to be had, we have your back. We got back on track last week as our picks went 3-1 (27-22 overall), and we will try and improve on that mark this week. Wednesday night will feature a 12-game slate, with Anthony Davis, Steph Curry, The Joker, and Kawhi Leonard all in action. Doc’s Sports will break down some of the best plays on the hardwood below.

Jarrett Allen, Cleveland Cavaliers, OVER 10.5 rebounds (-120)

The first prop that I am targeting on Wednesday night comes from the Cleveland Cavs and their center against a poor Hornets squad. Charlotte gives up the second most rebounds to the center position. Allen has cleared this line in three out of his last four games overall and covered this line in five out of his last six games against the Hornets. Charlotte is also bottom three in the league in field goal percentage, which should lead to more rebound opportunities. Allen heads into tonight’s matchup averaging 10.7 rebounds per contest on the season, which ranks eighth in the NBA. Over his last 10 games he is averaging 11.3 boards per game.

Paul George, Los Angeles Clippers, OVER 22.5 points (-105)

George heads into Wednesday’s matchup averaging exactly this line of 22.5 points for the 2023-24 season. The Clippers need a solid offensive performance after two very bad losses to the Pacers and tonight’s foe in the 76ers. George had 18 points against Philly on Sunday, and I am looking for improvement tonight. The 76ers have struggled overall in their last seven games against the small forward position, giving up the most points in the NBA over that span. PG has covered this line in four out of his last five games overall and four straight on the road.

Tyrese Maxey, Philadelphia 76ers, OVER 2.5 threes (-140)

Sticking with the Clippers and 76ers contest, I love this spot for Maxey to surpass his three-point total. The Clippers give up the second-most threes to the point guard position and over the last 30 games they have been the worst team defensively at giving up threes to that position. Tyrese has cleared this line in two straight games and seven out of his last 10. He is shooting almost 40% from beyond the arc on the season and surpassed this total in four straight home games.

Scoot Henderson, Portland Trail Blazers, OVER 5.5 assists (-110)

This is a solid play in a juicy matchup against the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night. Since the All-Star break, Atlanta ranks 16th in opponents assists allowed per game. Henderson enters the matchup averaging 4.8 APG on the season but has had a plethora of potential assists over the last few weeks. In his last game against the Rockets, he had 13 potential assists. In the three games prior to Houston, Scoot had nine potential assists against Denver and 18 and 14 potential assists in two games against the Clippers. The Trail Blazers have allowed eight players to rack up 6+ assists against them in the last two weeks. Henderson is worth a play tonight.

Richaun Holmes, Washington Wizards, OVER 7.5 rebounds (-115)

My last prop pick for Wednesday night features Richaun Holmes and his rebound total of 7.5 boards. Looking over his last four games, has brought down 15 rebounds against the Bulls, 14 against the Raptors, 16 against Sabonis and the Kings, and nine against the Rockets. The Brooklyn Nets rank 19th in the NBA in rebounds allowed and there should be plenty of opportunities tonight to clean up the glass for Holmes. Brooklyn also ranks 25th in the NBA in rebounds given up to power forwards. Look for Holmes to reach 8+ boards tonight.
