The Red Sox right-hander has not been able to stay healthy, but this season he has, and Boston has won seven of his 10 starts. Wacha will have extra motivation, facing his former team, St. Louis. The Cardinals have played solid baseball but have benefited from a Milwaukee slump to be in a battle for first place in the NL Central. The Redbirds will have 40-year-old Adam Wainwright toeing the rubber first, and he has an amazing 2.84 ERA, proving you can get guys out without just throwing hard. After a lackluster 3-9 start at Fenway Park, the Red Sox have caught fire at home and knock off the Cards to start the weekend series.
