Expert CFL Handicapping: 2022 Grey Cup Odds and Betting Predictions
by Devon Rymarchuk - 6/6/2022
June 9 starts Week 1 for the Canadian Football League, and nine teams across Canada will be competing for the 110th Grey Cup. The CFL features 18 regular season games across 21 weeks, with each team receiving 3 bye weeks. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers enter the 2022 season as back-to-back champions and are opening week favorites to complete the three-peat. Another Grey Cup victory in 2022 would put them in elite company of teams to three-peat in the CFL and the first to do so since Edmonton's dominant run in the late-70s and early-80s.
New CFL Rule Changes Add Appeal to Betting the Total Line
by Dave Schwab - 5/9/2022
The difference between NFL games and its counterpart to the north in the CFL has always been striking. Canadian football is played on a bigger field with only three plays to gain a first down. These two major differences have always favored the passing game and higher scoring contests.
2021 College Football National Championship Futures Odds with Expert Betting Predictions
by Chris Vasile - 1/18/2021
We are now a full week removed from the 2020 National Championship Game between Alabama and Ohio State. I decided to wait a full seven days before speaking on it so I could let what transpired marinate and form a respectable opinion. So, what did I come up with? Well, that Crimson Tide team may be one of the best football teams I’ve seen in quite some time. I would absolutely take them over the 2019 LSU Tigers, and I wouldn’t think twice about laying points with them on a neutral field in that hypothetical match.
NCAA Football Betting Odds: Week 2 Line Movements & Last-Minute News
by Alan Matthews - 9/7/2018
My first impression of Week 2 now that I've taken a good look is that it's a really weak schedule overall but that I like a lot of huge underdogs in what could be a letdown Saturday for some marquee programs. No. 11 Notre Dame had a massive home win last Saturday vs. Michigan and opened at -37 this week against Mid-American Conference school Ball State.
Free CFL Week 2 Picks from Expert Canadian Football Handicapper
by Raphael Esparza - 6/20/2018
The 2018 CFL regular season got off to a strong start for the favorites, with three of the four teams laying points winning their game straight up. I went against the Edmonton Eskimos as seven-point road favorites in their season opener at Winnipeg and cashed a winner with the Blue Bombers covering in the 33-30 loss as my CFL free pick of the week for Doc's Sports.
Expert Betting Advice CFL: How to Bet Canadian Football in 2018
by Trevor Whenham - 6/13/2018
The newest season of the Canadian Football League gets underway this weekend. Nine teams will play 18 games over 21 weeks seeking out six playoff spots. And the final two teams will fight to be the 106th team awarded the Grey Cup. I live about a mile from a CFL stadium, so I have a soft spot for the league. It's not the best football out there, but it is unique, often entertaining, and there is a surprising amount of talent on the field. And it's a league that can be pretty fun and fruitful to bet on as well. To get you into the mindset of betting on the league, here are four good storylines to pay attention to (Odds are from Bovada):

The start of a new season of football in the NFL is still months away, but sports bettors looking for their football fix can turn to a brand new season of games 'north of the border' with action in Week 1 of the 2018 CFL regular season. CFL West Division Odds: Expert Predictions and Analysis
by Chris Vasile - 6/8/2018
The CFL's West Division has been dominated by Calgary over the course of the last handful of seasons, with the Stampeders claiming the crown in four of the last six seasons. Saskatchewan in 2013 and Ed-monton in 2015 were the other two teams to win the division, and they are the two teams I believe have the best chance to dethrone the Stampeders once again. Both teams come into the season with high expectations. And with the Stamps expected to regress after back-to-back Grey Cup losses, a new West Division Champion should be crowned.
CFL East Division Odds: Expert Predictions and Analysis
by Chris Vasile - 6/8/2018
The CFL's East Division has been a bit of a crapshoot over the last handful of seasons. The To-ronto Argos have bookend Eastern Division crowns in 2012 and 2017, while Hamilton won back-to-back crowns in 2013-14 and Ottawa did the same in 2015-16.
2018 CFL Season Win Totals Predictions
by Chris Vasile - 6/6/2018
We are just one week away from kickoff between the Edmonton Eskimos and Winnipeg Blue Bombers, who have the honor of getting the 2018 CFL season underway. As Week 3 of the preseason wraps up this coming weekend, what better way to prime ourselves for 21 weeks of fast-paced, high-scoring, immensely-entertaining football than by breaking down each of the nine team's season win totals and let you know how we expect each team to fare.
