Yu Darvish gave up three runs on seven hits and three walks while striking out four over five innings in a no-decision versus the Mets on Friday. That might not bode well vs a Phillies team that is finally turning the corner offensively, they are now 11th in OPS as a team in all of MLB, which does not sound great, but two months ago they were near the bottom of the league, so they are really starting to swing the sticks. Christopher Sanchez has been a bright spot for the Phillies rotation, although he is 0-2, he has a 2.84 ERA and 1.03 WHIP in five starts which is really good. The Padres are 19th in the league vs southpaws, and Sanchez fits the bill. Let's roll with the Phillies on Friday evening in Philadelphia, as they look to start the second half on a positive note.
