College Football Prediction From Raphael Esparza:

Take 'Over’ 48.5 Army vs Temple (4 p.m., Friday, Sept. 25)

With the weather projecting to be nice, I see both teams putting points on the scoreboard early and often. Army is coming off a tough loss to South Florida 28-24 and in the second half the Bulls scored 21 points. Temple lost to Toledo on the road by one point 49-48. And if Toledo was able to score 49 points, I see the Army rush attack putting points on the board. College Football Prediction From Scott Rickenbach:

Take #309 Northwestern (+21) at Indiana (8 p.m., Friday, Sept. 25)

I do feel, generally speaking, that the Hoosiers are a little overvalued this season based on winning it all last season. Their 52-16 win over North Texas saw them actually outgained by a couple yards. They since have had B2B wins by a combined score of 90 to 0 but against Howard (an FCS School) and Western Kentucky from Conference USA. The Wildcats have some confidence from B2B wins but their win over South Dakota State saw them lose first down battle 27-19 and their win over Colorado was 41-7 but was turnover fueled as Buffaloes turned it over 4 times. I will be looking for spots to fade the Hoosiers when they face really tough teams later in their schedule. I am definitely leaning to the Wildcats here although this is a Big Ten Opener and Indiana is at home and should be ready for this game. College Football Prediction From Robert Ferringo:

Take Wake Forest (+13) over Louisville (Noon, Saturday, Sept. 26)

That is now four of five free play winners in this space. This week we’ll jump on Jake Dickert’s squad. Louisville is in a bit of a letdown spot after a big win over SMU last Saturday night. That game was a battle. And this one will be as well. Wake Forest outplayed Miami in the second half last Friday night. They were just in too big of a hole (31-7) to really make it a game. Wake only lost to Miami – one of the best teams in the country – by 13 points so I think they can hang around with Louisville. Dickert is 6-2 ATS in his last eight games as an underdog and over his last 28 games as a head coach (going back to Washington State) his teams have only lost by 14 or more points four times. Take #313 UCLA (-1.5) over Maryland (1:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 26)

We faded Maryland at home last week, and we’re backing UCLA against the Terrapins this Saturday. The Bruins are 3-0 under first-year head coach Bob Chesney. While their competition has been modest, they’ve shown they can score, and we expect their offense to make the difference. Maryland struggled against Virginia Tech last week, falling behind 35-14 before adding late fourth-quarter touchdowns. Chesney also knows the region from his time coaching at James Madison in Virginia. With UCLA favored, we like the Bruins in this matchup. NFL Prediction From Jason Sharpe:

Take ‘Under’ 48.0 New York Jets at Detroit (1 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 27)

Everyone saw this Detroit defense on full display last week in Buffalo and it wasn't a pretty sight but keep in mind they were coming in after playing an overtime game four days earlier and were likely exhausted having faced 86 defensive snaps the previous game. This Lions defense is better than they have shown so far and I expect they will be fired up for this one here at home after their embarrassing showing last week on national TV. They will face off here against a New York Jets team that's actually played some solid defense to start the 2026 season in year two under Aaron Glenn. The former Lions defensive coordinator coaches a very conservative style which tends to favor lower scoring games. In fact, both Jets games so far this season have gone below the total and the posted total in this contest here is the highest game total for a Jets game ever with Glenn as the head coach. Take Milwaukee (-1.5) over St. Louis (3:10 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 27)

Milwaukee has owned the NL Central since week 1 of the season and is closing out the season at home for this one. Milwaukee is presently 98-58 on the season, 52-26 at home, and 32-17 when it comes to divisional play. St. Louis is 1 game above 500 on the road and 23-23 in divisional play. NFL Prediction From Strike Point Sports:

Take #488 Denver (+2.5) over LA Rams (8 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 27)

Bo Nix is a solid, solid home play, and even better when he is getting points. Nix is 14-3 straight up on his home field, and that is key when considering that they are the underdog here. The Rams are 1-1 but they took down a Giants team that barely had a roster at the end of that game. Do I think LA won that game? Yes, but it is a much closer final than the scoreline suggests. Denver is going to put constant pressure on this Rams offense, and the home fans will make life difficult for the communication between the coaches and the offensive line. NFL Prediction From Nick Menken:

Take ‘Under’ 45.5 Los Angeles Rams at Denver (8 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 27)

In this primetime matchup, scoring will be a significant challenge. Denver comes off a physical 20-13 comeback win against Jacksonville, where their defense clamped down in the second half, while the Rams dominated New York 28-6 on Monday night by giving up almost nothing in their own end zone. Both defensive fronts excel at pressuring the quarterback without having to blitz, forcing opposing offenses into long-field-position battles and heavy-dose running plays. The altitude at Mile High provides a distinct edge to the Under here, especially with Los Angeles coming off a shorter week. The thin Denver air wears down visiting skill players in the second half, forcing teams to rely on heavier ground-and-pound scripts that keep the clock moving continuously. Expect both coaching staffs to play field position carefully and settle for field goals early on. Lock in the Under 45.5 total points and bet on a low-scoring, defensive battle on Sunday night.
