College Basketball Prediction From Strike Point Sports:

College Basketball Prediction From Robert Ferringo:

Take Kansas (-3.5) over Central Florida (2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 3)

We have racked up 84 of 137 wins in this space (63%) and I am 129-82 (62%) with my newsletter plays over the last 211 weeks. I’ve kind of seen this from Central Florida before. They started 10-2 last year and 9-3 the year prior. The Knights were off to a 13-4 start in 2022 and 9-2 in 2021. They are just 31-43 in league play over the last four seasons, though, and just 14-24 in Big 12 play since joining the conference. I think it will be more of the same here for UCF, who are hosting a hardened Kansas group. The Jayhawks have played one of the toughest schedules in the country. And they’ve done it despite not being healthy. I am expecting the Jayhawks to have Darryn Peterson back and healthy and he is a major upgrade to the rotation. Kansas has won the last three meetings between these two teams, including a 51-point blowout in Orlando last January. The Jayhawks are 7-1 ATS in their last eight games and I think they will be up against a short number here. Take #335 Green Bay (+6.5) over Minnesota (1 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 4)

Green Bay is locked into the No. 7 seed in the NFC Playoffs and thus the experts are expecting them to rest a lot of players in this game. Minnesota is still very weak at the quarterback position, and I am not sure this is a good spot for them laying this many points against a divisional opponent. Does Green Bay really want to enter the playoffs getting blown out in this game making it four straight losses? I think they will play some key players and be able to take this game down to the wire. Take 'Over' 39.0 Los Angeles Chargers at Denver (4:25 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 4)

This game still has meaning as the Denver Broncos are still in the hunt for the No. 1 seed in the AFC and we should see some points in this game. The Broncos have hit the 'Over' 4 out of their last 5 games and don't forget the Broncos defense allowed the Jaguars to score 34 points in Denver and the Packers scored 26 points. The Chargers last road game they beat the Cowboys 34-17 and I know they struggled against the Texans at home last week but look for both teams to hit the endzone early Sunday late afternoon. NFL Prediction From Griffin Murphy:

Take Pittsburgh (+3.5) over Baltimore (8:20 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 4)

Baltimore and Pitt have a massive divisional clash here on Sunday night. Pittsburgh is 9-7 and 1st in the AFC North, whilst Baltimore is 8-8 and 2nd in the AFC North. There is always the caught-up, motivation spot and revenge spot, but we just don't see it here. We believe the better team will win this football game despite the 3.5-point differential. Aaron Rodgers lives in these moments, and I'm going to edge with Pittsburgh on coaching as well. Baltimore is still dealing with Tyler Huntley at the QB spot, and the moment might be too big for him as a utility backup.
