6 Bracket Busters Who Ruined Everyone's NCAA Tournament Bracket
by Jeremy Block - 3/14/2026
At some point during the first weekend of March Madness, something goes wrong for almost everybody who filled out a bracket. Whether it's a power conference program that comes out flatfooted or a double-digit seed from a league nobody watches that suddenly looks like a top-25 team, there is always at least one team that makes the whole thing fall apart.
Why Do Some College Basketball Powerhouses Flame Out in March Madness?
by Jeremy Block - 3/13/2026
College basketball has a way of painting villains as March approaches. Top seeds become the teams with the target on their back—the ones fan bases across the country cannot stand, and only hope get sent home earlier than expected. And more recently than ever, that's actually been the case.
2026 Big East Tournament Predictions and Expert Betting Picks
by Robert Ferringo - 3/11/2026
It has been a disappointing, transitional year in the Big East. And unless we have a surprise champion (think Georgetown in 2021) then this venerable league may settle for just three teams in the NCAA tournament. That would tie 2024 for the fewest teams in the NCAA tournament from the Big East over the past 40 years.
2026 SEC Tournament Predictions and Expert Betting Picks
by Robert Ferringo - 3/11/2026
Last year the SEC broke college basketball. They sent 14 of 16 teams to the NCAA tournament, provided half of the Elite Eight and Final Four teams, and featured the eventual national champions, Florida. It was a historic year for a league in which basketball has always been second fiddle to football.
2026 Mountain West Tournament Predictions and Expert Betting Picks
by Robert Ferringo - 3/11/2026
The MWC has sent at least four teams to the NCAA tournament – the conference winner and at least three at-large teams – for four straight seasons. The Mountain has sent 18 teams to The Big Dance over the last four years, and 2021 was the last time that they didn’t send at least three teams to the tourney.
Major Conferences That Have Struggled in March Madness
by Jeremy Block - 3/11/2026
Every March, a handful of programs walk into the tournament with the kind of reputation that makes people pencil them deep into their brackets without thinking twice. Some conferences produce those programs more than others, and some have been getting embarrassed by teams that nobody thought would even get a March Madness bid.
2026 Big Ten Tournament Predictions and Expert Betting Picks
by Robert Ferringo - 3/10/2026
There are 18 teams in the Big Ten tournament! This bloated league will (eventually) crown a champion this weekend, with the winner coming through one of the most convoluted brackets you will ever see. To wit, if Oregon or Northwestern were to make a Cinderella run to the title they would need to win six games in six days. Yet, the league’s top four teams – Michigan, Illinois, Nebraska and Michigan State – will play their first Big Ten tournament games three days after the tournament’s opening games.
2026 ACC Tournament Predictions and Expert Betting Picks
by Robert Ferringo - 3/10/2026
The ACC ain’t what it used to be. But the league is still one of the most high-profile conferences in college basketball and setting up for one of the most intriguing and consequential ACC tournaments in recent memory. While Duke leads a group of six teams squarely in next week’s NCAA tournament field, there are several desperate underachievers trying to claw their way into The Big Dance.

With all No. 1 seeds making the Final Four, the race for Most Outstanding Player (MOP) is stacked with elite talent. The usual chaos might be missing, but that only makes the MOP conversation even tougher. When the best of the best square off, who’s going to shine brightest?
March Madness: Breaking Down National Championship Odds vs. Seedings for Sweet 16
by Jeremy Block - 3/27/2025
It’s the most wonderful time of the year - March Madness is in full swing. The Big Dance, as always, provided us with the expected upsets, buzzer-beaters, and drama. However, as we head into the Sweet 16, the big question is: which teams are truly set up to make a run at the National Championship?
Women's Sweet 16 Bracket Picks: Mapping Out the Eventual National Champion
by Ryan Cobbett - 3/26/2025
Similarly to the Men’s bracket, the Women’s bracket had no significant upsets and the worst seed to reach the Sweet 16 round was a handful of No. 5 Seeds. USC has seen their championship aspirations take a big hit after losing their star player to an ACL tear, which means we may see one of those 5-Seeds reach the Elite Eight. The remaining field is truly best on best, and we have some exciting matches to follow. Keep on reading for some best bets in the Sweet 16, some Final Four sleepers, and a preview of a potential championship game between two of the most elite programs in women’s basketball.
Sweet 16 Bracket Picks: Mapping Out the Eventual National Champion
by Ryan Cobbett - 3/25/2025
There are no more perfect brackets as we head into the Sweet 16 round. However, we all get a second chance here to polish off the back half of the tournament. Unfortunately for lovers of total chaos, this is the first time since 2007 that we didn’t have an 11 Seed or worse reach the Sweet 16 round. The Arkansas Razorbacks bring some intrigue as a worst seed to make it to this point after they were able to knock off St. Johns and Kansas.
NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 Best Bets Against the Spread and Over Under
by Joey House - 3/25/2025
The NCAA Basketball Tournament, commonly known as "March Madness," received this name due to the surprising upsets and unexpected outcomes of games that seemed straightforward on paper. While the first weekend typically brings shocking results, this year's tournament saw fewer upsets than usual. In the opening round, only five double-digit seeds advanced to the weekend, and only one of those potential "Cinderella" teams, 10-seed Arkansas, made it to the Sweet 16. More concerning for mid-major teams is that this marks the first tournament in history where only teams from the Power 4 conferences (ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, SEC) reached the Sweet 16.

by Jeremy Block - 3/19/2025
March Madness is here, and we all know the deal - the chaos, the upsets, and the Cinderella stories that make it all so thrilling. But with all the madness comes a crucial question: do the tournament seeds actually matter when it comes to winning the National Championship? Sure, higher seeds get the respect, but history shows that upsets are just as likely to happen as the favorites making it all the way.
