MLB Prediction From Strike Point Sports:
Take Texas over L.A. Angels (6:40 p.m. Thursday, July 9)

The Angels are just 2-8 in their last 10 games. This team is just 36-52 on the season and is one of the worst teams in the American League. Texas is 8-3 in its last 11 games and 10-5 in its last 15 games. The Rangers were swept in Los Angeles in the first series between these two A.L. World Cup Soccer Prediction From Scott Rickenbach:

The setup is excellent for goals here even with this, of course, being a high stakes battle. This is a strong pitching matchup, and I expect runs to be hard to come by at Dodgers Stadium tonight. Take Both Teams to Score: Yes (-160) England vs. Norway (5 p.m., Saturday, July 11)

Here we go! The first Quarterfinals match on Saturday at will be a good one.. England vs Norway in Miami, Florida should have tons of fireworks and I see goals hitting the back of the net from the start. England is coming off a big performance in Mexico City beating El Tri 3-2 and I see their momentum carrying over in South Beach. Norway had no issue beating Brazil in their Round of 16 match and with them beating Brazil 2-0 I see them hitting the back of the net in this match as well. I know the juice is a bit pricey at -160 but the closer this game gets it will be around -180 or higher. MLB Prediction From Robert Ferringo:
Take ‘Under’ 8.5 Philadelphia at Detroit (6 p.m., Saturday, July 11)

Cristopher Sanchez got absolutely lit up this week, allowing nine runs and 12 hits in a 15-1 loss to the Royals. Sanchez surrendered three home runs in that one and saw his ERA bump up to 2.62. I’m playing for a bounce back here, though. He’s only allowed four or more runs in four other starts this season. Each time he rebounded well, never allowing more than two runs and posting just a 1.75 ERA in those four outings. Two of them went ‘over’, but that’s only because the Phillies scored 10+ in those games. If they do that here it blows our play. But the idea that Sanchez will rebound is sound logic. Casey Mize has been solid, rolling out a 2.64 ERA and allowing two runs or fewer in 10 of his 13 outings this year. His ERA in Motown is just 2.12 this season. Maybe look at the First 5 Innings ‘under’ as well as I expect the two starters to control this one.
