The Top Five US Sportsbooks Have the Final 2023 Super Bowls Odds

The Philadelphia Eagles upended the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship in the early game and the Kansas City Chiefs got by the Cincinnati Bengals in the later matchup of the AFC Championship this past Sunday.

The Eagles used their defensive effort in a 31-7 victory at home as the No. 1 seed of the NFC. Philadelphia covered the 2.5-point spread as a home favorite. The Eagles’ money line odds were -150 as favorites and the total line stayed UNDER 45.5 points.

The Chiefs kicked a field goal in the closing moments of the fourth quarter to escape with 23-20 win as two-point favorites at home. Kansas City covered the spread and the home team was a -130 favorite on the money line odds. The total line stayed UNDER 48.5 points.

Going in the NFC and AFC Championships, the Philadelphia Eagles were the clear favorites to win the 2023 Super Bowl at 51.8%. The Eagles ranged from -130 odds at DraftKings to +110 odds at BetMGM. FanDuel and PointsBet had them both at -110. Caesars Sportsbook circled Philadelphia at even money with +100 odds.

Kansas City was the second-favorite at 38.9% to win the big game. Caesars Sportsbook also made the Chiefs even money at +100 along with the Cincinnati Bengals. DraftKings had +110 odds followed by +190 for PointBet, +200 for FanDuel and +240 for BetMGM.

The Eagles and the Chiefs are the first No. 1 seeds to actually win their game at home to make it to the Super Bowl since 2018. Philadelphia beat the New England Patriots 41-33 in Super Bowl 52 on Feb. 4 that year. The game was played at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

During this NFC Championship Game, Philadelphia used Jalen Hurts sparingly on offense both passing and running the ball. The  Eagles’ defense effort was outstanding in their play, shutting down the efforts of Brock Purdy and Josh Johnson at quarterback for San Francisco.

Kansas City used the talent of Patrick Mahomes (with a high ankle sprain) to beat the Bengals. Mahomes completed 29 of 43 passes for 326 yards to win the game with seconds to spare. The match went down to the final field goal in the closing seconds of the fourth quarter in the game.
