2021 Super Bowl Cross Sport Props: Predictions and Analysis
Sometimes, betting on the NFL alone just isn’t enough. With that, plenty of sportsbooks now give you the opportunity to beat cross-sport bets to help give other sports some love during the big day. Here are also some cross-sport bets to look at and which bets could hit for you.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers Touchdowns (-150) vs Tampa Bay Lightning Goals (+110) on February 5.
I’ll be honest, I don’t know much about the NHL. However, I looked at how many goals the Lightning have been scoring. And they have scored, at most, five goals in a game. I’m expecting a high scoring game and believe the over hits in this game. I’ve written plenty of articles on my thoughts via Doc’s Sports and why I like the over. With that said, I’d roll with the Bucs here and believe they’ll get four or five touchdowns in this game against a very bad Chiefs secondary.
Kansas City Royals Runs in Season Opener 2021 (-155) vs Kansas City Chiefs Touchdowns (+115)
The Royals will take on the Rangers in the first game of the season on April 1. While the Rangers don’t have the best starting rotation in the league, the Royals offense really isn’t that great this season. The Chiefs could end up scoring five touchdowns, meaning the Royals would need six runs in the first game of the season. Even five would be kind of hard for that Royals offense. I’d take the plus money with the Chiefs.
Tom Brady Pass Completions (-120) vs Total 1st Quarter Points by the New York Knicks (-120)
The Knicks are scoring 51.8 points in the first half per game, which is bottom five in the NBA and just 26.1 points per first quarter. The Knicks take on the Heat, and the Heat haven’t defended all that well this season. However, the Knicks have been playing in a lot of slow and boring defensive games. The Knicks are shooting below 45 percent on the season and aren’t getting many assists, either.
Currently, Brady’s completion line is set at 24.5 (-130). The averages would say the Knicks. However, in a game where the Chiefs and Bucs should go back and forth in a close game, I like Brady to make more plays and complete more passes. The secondary of the Chiefs isn’t very good, and I’m sure the Bucs offense will exploit that.
I’d take Brady on the completions in this spot.
James Harden points on February 6/Chiefs-Bucs first-half points (-.5)
As long as the Nets are playing all three players in Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant and James Harden, I’d take the first-half points in those football games. Harden has taken a backseat to Durant and Irving and has become the passer when those three are on the floor.
Meanwhile, the Buccaneers and Chiefs start games off fast and score points in a hurry. I don’t think that changes in this game. Again, since I like the over in the Super Bowl, I would take any of these props vs almost anything. We’re going to see points in the Super Bowl.
