I'm recommending a play on Eastern Michigan minus the points on Friday at 12 noon ET. EMU is bowl eligible but can't catch Northern Illinois in the MAC West. This takes any serious pressure off the Eagles, and they can simply focus on taking care of business. EMU is just 16 points from a 10-1 record, while Kent State has taken some ugly defeats along the way. The Golden Flashes have suffered 6 losses by 21 or more points, and the defense is a mess. Take #142 West Virginia (+1.5) over Oklahoma (8 p.m., Friday, Nov. 23)

You don't just roll into Morgantown, especially for a night game, and walk out with a win. And Oklahoma isn't going to escape with a victory on Friday night. The Sooners have dominated West Virginia over the last few years, beating them all six times they've squared off since WVU joined the Big 12. And they haven't beaten them by a little, either. Their last four wins have all by double figures. That is why the public is pouring money into Oklahoma. But I don't see it going that way. The Sooners have been winning games. But they are 0-3 ATS in their last three games and 2-4 ATS in their last six. They outgained Kansas and Oklahoma State (at home) only by a combined 106 yards. They have been leaking oil for a while. OSU, whom the Sooners beat by just one point as a 21-point favorite, is really the only good team that Oklahoma has faced the last two months. The last legit team they played? Texas, and the Sooners lost. West Virginia was in a tough spot last week. They were coming off their best game of the year in a win over TCU, and they were definitely looking ahead to the Sooners in this game. As a result, they came up just short in Oklahoma State. But I think the Mountaineers are going to rebound in a big way. Those hillbillies are going to be drinking all day, and the crowd is going to be going nuts for this nighttime kickoff. I think WVU is going to lock up their spot in the Big 12 title game and set up a rematch with the Sooners by winning here. I expect there to be a carryover effect into this game, and giving two touchdowns in just too many points. The underdog is 4-0 in the last 4 meetings. As per this pick, you have a No. 19-ranked Utah team who has just clinched the Pac 12 South and will be playing in the championship game regardless of what happens in this spot. Would the program like to win out and get to 10 wins? Absolutely. But what the program would like more is a Pac 12 Title and a trip to the Rose Bowl. The Utes have been a great team all season long and will look to send their seniors off on a winning note in front of their home fans. However, BYU is a 6-win team that could be more like a 7- or 8-win team if a few bounces go their way. BYU is good on the road, as they are 4-1 ATS, and we believe with a Utah team that will be looking ahead, the Cougars are a solid play to stay within the number. Utah won this meeting last year just 19-13, and so when these two teams meet its usually a pretty close affair. BYU is playing some really good football right now, winning two straight by a combined score of 80-26. If the offense can continue to put up points and the defense continues to be stout, there is no reason to believe they shouldn't stay within the number.
